I was so devastated when me and my ex broke up, it broke my heart even harder when he didn’t bother returning my favorite south pole shades. Those glasses saw a lot of very nice places I went to last year (2010). Deep inside of me I was really hoping that in good faith he will return my shades back to me. I waited patiently for him to give them back to me but to no avail….
SO MOVING ON, MOVING FORWARD… tin tin don’t you wait no more! Just think that you lost em!
Last December a fairy goddess granted my wish even better…She replaced my South Pole shades to A TORY BURCH SUNGLASS…
It really is true once God, take away something from you, he will surely give u something better, even greater to what you had imagined.
Cheers to a happy and very luxurious life I have... Thank you LORD GOD for always giving me a good and comfortable life.

how to heal a broken me?
The question I had been trying to ask myself for the past two weeks of hitting rock bottom solid. How do I cope up with the sadness I’ve been feeling? How do I pick up myself? How do I stop wasting my tears over and over? Sure I had been in love before and experienced heart breaks, I just can’t understand why this is too painful to bear for me. It’s so unbearable. Maybe because I was so madly in love, gave my all, felt betrayed, is it because I’m getting older? Feeling frustrated and remorseful all of the same time. I keep on asking myself again, what have I ever done in my lifetime to feel this emotion? Do I deserve it? Is it because I always get what I want? And when I don’t get it, it hits me hard?? Did I lose myself in the process? Too many questions for me to answer. And only me who can answer these questions. I am very thankful for the Lord God because despite of the hurting I still owe it a lot to my parents for always putting up with me. I may feel suffocated with too much of their concern but primarily they help me tick. This would be the perfect time for me to say thank you to my close friends who had been here for me since day one. To Joni my best friend, since we were in grade two, Lea who is more than a friend and who is like a big sister to me...Jelenita, thank you so much for always replying with my text no matter what time, whether day or night. Iris, Jhandiy and vax for being such a wonderful support group. My cousins, though far and very far, always extend their love and concern for me. My brother who makes me laugh in his own little way. My kumareng Ada, who has been sending me inspirational quotes and always reminding me to buy and drink vitamins..New friends (jon and niel) who just text me out of nowhere just to make sure I am fine. I just don’t know how to stand up again after a great fall now I remember the old nursery rhyme humpty dumpty….
Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
All the king's horses and all the king's men
Couldn't put Humpty together again.
Most of the special people in my life are doing their best to make me feel whole and alive again but with me not doing my part it would be so hard. Maybe this is my wakeup call on not to escape this predicament and face it with a strong front. This time I need to deal with it and learn with it. I don’t know how? When all I can think about are my failures. Earlier I was thinking about the movie sliding doors way back 1997 or was it 98?
Starring GWYNETH PALTROW and JOHN HANNAH…Arriving at work one morning, Helen discovers that she had been unjustifiably sacked from her PR job. She is returning home when an amazing thing happens, time reverses itself for a few seconds and a second version of herself is created. In one reality Helen catches the tube train, meets James and arrives home to find her loathsome Lothario lover Gerry cheating on her with his ex-girlfriend Lydia. In the other reality, Helen misses the tube train, gets mugged, goes to hospital and eventually arrives home to find Gerry alone in the shower. The two realities move forward in tandem; in one Helen leaves Gerry and forms a happy, new, loving relationship with James; in the other Helen's live becomes more and more wretched as she takes on two jobs to support her worthless, cheating boyfriend as he supposedly writes his novel but in fact carries on a torrid affair with Lydia. My point here is I hope all of these things happening to me now are like in the movies where I do have two options so that I will always end up happy. Now the question of what if I did not do what I just did and said what I just said? All these things of regrets, all regrets with my sorry ass that’s why i'm so disappointed. I want to start all over again, just rewind everything. If I was not lazy that day to go to work and have not had my car washed back in June 2010 maybe this will not happen at all. Or just like the prayer of saint Therese who always say you are where you are suppose to be. Now I don’t even know if I belong here or not… I don’t even know where I want to be. All I want is to get this hurting all behind me. As I always say let’s get this over and done with. But how come I cannot find my happy ending? I tried everything that I was doing before gallivanting alone, driving fast and driving too fast again, go to the mall, shop and buy whatever I want I did all those things that made me happy before but to no avail I still feel empty…so very blank and hollow.. Now every blog that I write always end with a positive note but sorry this time I can’t end it with a positive note… just like when MIKA sings:
This is the hardest story that I've ever told
No hope, no love, no glory
Happy endings gone forever more
I feel as if I'm wasted
And I'm wastin' every day
This is the way you left me,
I'm not pretending.
No hope, no love, no glory,
No Happy Ending.
This is the way that we love,
Like it's forever.
Then live the rest of our life,
But not together.
As I always say before for me a new day is a new hope, a new beginning and a new chance but now a new day for me means farther and farther away from that one person that I love and never had..

ondoy
September 26 is my mom’s 56th birthday so my mom and I were very busy and excited preparing our food because my two Aunties (My mom’s sisters), Lyn and Car will be joining us for lunch. My baby bro and his wife (sissy/Fwei) will be coming home from Manila. It was a cool weather, bed weather as I always say and it made my day. Around 11am my two Aunts came and Auntie Car kept raving about the typhoon Ondoy that it is already on its way to Central Luzon and she said that there will be a strong downpour of rain and wind but all of us did not heed her warnings. So on with the celebration, my mom’s other sisters and brothers and my cousins in the states were all calling her just to say their well wishes for her birthday. Then I noticed Lorlor’s (my mom’s nickname courtesy of my dad) cell phone when I saw my Bapa David’s (my dad’s brother) text message greeting her a happy birthday and asking if we were all fine here so readily answered and said thank you we are all fine here without asking on how he is doing. Then all of us were too busy making “chika” to our relatives abroad when my Uncle texted back and said that his house Is already submerged in water and that they are all trapped on the second floor of their house, he was at that time with whole family (Auntie Net, Jet and Jopet) minus Pao (Bapa David’s eldest) and Mau who has a condo unit in Makati. To our panic all of us rushed to turn on the television and switched our channel to ABS CBN and saw on our very own eyes that Quezon City was drenched in dark chocolate water. My dad called my uncle as soon as he grabbed his phone. He was able to reach him and asked about their condition. Thank God they have a second floor and remained dry the whole night. His cars were sopping wet, imagine a big car like the Toyota Fortuner sinking. What’s even worse is that he just bought a brand new Hyundai Tucson and was just delivered last Friday at their house. My brother Jon was trapped in Taguig City good thing the city did not get flooded but my sister in law Frei was also trapped in Mandaluyong she said that the water is already knee deep and it is still rising. My mom and dad got too worried and advice them not to go home anymore, to stay put where they were. In the afternoon the electricity kept coming in and out with nothing much to do I just slept the whole afternoon and when I woke up my dad said that we need to pray. Me, my dad and mom prayed and did a bit of fasting to help save all those helpless people on top of their roofs and who doesn’t have anything to eat. Now I got lots of things to be thankful for. I was thinking last night if that happened to us, I’m imagining that I’m soaking wet on top of our roof and having not much to save. I got too many valuable things that I consider but all those things will be gone to waste when such calamity comes our way. As my dad would remind me to pray hard and always think of the LORD and not even the very fear you have will dawn on you. At the end of the day, you start to realize that all that matter is the faith that you have in the Lord and the love that we have with our family. Not even the Tiffany’s or the Burberry’s would matter (tough I love these things too much). Here is a clip I got from YouTube. All these things happening around today are signs of the times changing very drastic and that we should all be aware and keep our faith in the Lord very alive.
PS
I’m happy to report that my Uncle’s home in Potsdam is ok. My cousin Pao sent this message via facebook..just read our wall to wall…

Life in COLLEGE

Sure high school was a total blast and it ended with a bang, it caught my attention and got me thinking good days are over. I was a bit nervous because things will become more serious and I need to mature but I was wrong because COLLEGE was better than high school. I tried liking my course B.S. Architecture but we all know that it was not my choice but of my Dad’s. To tell you honestly I was never somber about it which I blame myself nowadays. I could have been diligent about it instead I party here, there and everywhere. Soon after Veyn went M.I.A I always hang out with Evaress “Bhei” de Vera, Peter “ Tito Pete” Patawaran, Ervin “Boh” Garcia and Aldwin “Baldo” Chincauco all of which are my classmate except for Baldo who is just a schoolmate of ours. I miss the times when we just drive and drive and all of a sudden were in Bataan or in Tarlac. Drinking session during the afternoon, cut class all the time and not do our plates/drawings. Gosh I miss those days. I don’t even have to wait for Saturday and Saturday’s another story. I miss those carpool and convoy days with these guys! It’s true that I really did enjoy my youth to the fullest though I still have tiny regrets for not being stern about my decisions. Here is a picture of Bhei and Tito Pete inside my car, I was driving and Boh took the picture. I think this was sometime in 1998.
Bhei is now residing in the states with her daughter Andi.
Boh is now happily married and has a son.
Tito Pete is working with Mark Lapid in Philippine Tourism, not sure if he is already married.
Baldo is now managing their grocery GQ in CSF.
I would like to thank God and my parents that despite of all the drama I can say that my youth was the best and I enjoyed every moment I had.

tripple V make that 4!

Vivienne Vera V. Vidal another close friend that I have. We met when we were in college at The University of Assumption in San Fernando, Pampanga. She was already the friend of Flora A. Tongol my friend from high school. She was the one I was always with during our Odeum days with her cousin Mich Malang and her then boyfriend Janssen Limjoco now married to Geih Romero. Those were the days! Gosh I totally miss those days. I remember Janssen always bringing bottles and bottles of Jose Cuervo and Vodka at the back of his car trunk, we drank and drank till we drop. I miss the word wasted!! But I don’t miss being wasted though! I’m so over with drinking too much liquor it won’t do me any good anyway. Here is a picture of me and Veyn taken way back sometime in 1995/1996. If I’m not mistaken this was in Cruz swimming pool at Sta. Maria in Balibago.
Oh by the way, Veyn is now happily living with her partner Jun Ovejas. They have a very healthy bouncing baby boy "Abi" who is my godson.

My best friend

I’m sure every one of us had or has a best friend. I’m lucky to be one of those who have. Her name is Jossanah Nina “ Jonie” V. Kit now married to Dr. Bong Caladiao and has two cute adorable kids Tia and Muky. I met her when we were in grade two that was in the year 1986 at Holy Family Academy. So if you would count the years that’s oh my gosh 23 years??? I can’t believe it! Sure we did have our fall outs and misunderstandings but we never let those petty quarrels ruin our friendship. We make it a point to be there for one another, be it a cloudy, rainy, sunny even the darkest day of our lives. We’ve been through a lot, from school to love lives to family problems. There are too many happy memories that we shared too. Even this page is not even enough. Haha, here is a picture of her taken last March 1995 during our graduation night.
